SAP have announced that the next release of the global SAP Business One software which has been developed specifically for small and medium sized business will be available towards the end of 2014. The additional functionality in the new version of the solution includes a completely new Production Resources module.
The resources module is targeted at manufactures to allow management of production resources and plan capacity more efficiently, capture the actual costs, providing more accurate production costing.
The new release also includes the ability to capture costs and analyse profits for finished items by individual batches and serial numbers, plus a wide range of enhanced functionality.
The continuous major development work that has gone into these enhancements for SAP Business One version 9.1 is in line with the SAP strategy to provide the most cost effective and comprehensive global ERP software solution for small and medium sized businesses.
